On Saturday, May 13, 2017, the Roanoke Kappa Foundation is hosting its Spring Scholarship Dinner Dance: “Once Upon a Dream” at the Holiday Inn Valley View from 6:30 pm – 12:00 am. Ticket holders will enjoy a plated dinner, a complimentary drink from the cash bar, as well as an evening of dancing to the musical selections of BAD1 Productions (DJ Jerome). The cost of the dinner dance is $40 per ticket, and attire is semi-formal. This annual event is the primary fundraiser for the college scholarships awarded by the Roanoke Kappa Foundation. The Roanoke Kappa Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Roanoke Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, with a qualified 501c3 non-profit status.  We annually award $1000 scholarships to deserving college-bound seniors in the Roanoke Valley community. Last year, we awarded $3000 in scholarships to three deserving high school seniors in the Roanoke Valley.
