The Roanoke (VA) Alumni Chapter volunteered at the Rescue Mission’s 2nd Helpings Thrift store on Saturday, March 18th. The brothers in attendance helped with sorting and tagging inventory for the thrift store, whose proceeds support the Rescue Mission’s services of comprehensive care for people in crisis. The Rescue Mission is the largest provider of emergency shelter in Roanoke. Its components include a health care center, male recovery program, family and female shelter, and transient male shelter. Emanuel Arnold coordinated the project. (Pictured left to right: Eugene Sellers, Stephen Barber, Emanuel Arnold, Rick Smith, Chris Trower, Albert James, Maurice Coffey).
